Mya Baumle- Dance Instructor

Miss Mya started her dancing career at age 2 back in 2005, throughout her time dancing she has competed in many styles, including ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip hop and musical theatre! In 2017, Mya transferred to Overdrive Dance Force and has loved every minute she gets to spend with her new-found second family.

Miss Mya found her love of teaching when she joined her studios student teacher program when she was 13, she has had many opportunities at Overdrive Dance Force to continue on her journey as a dance teacher and loves to learn new ways to help little dancers grow.

Throughout her life, Mya has taken many workshops to better her knowledge of the dance world, some of these include; Pure Dance, Groove Street, classes at The Edge in California, and classes with the NXG Company here in Edmonton. She has also performed at many public events such as; The Children’s Festival, The Festival of Trees, at Oil Kings games, in Disneyland parades, and in Disney showcases!

Mya continues to dance through her graduation from high school in 2020 and into her university years where she is taking her Bachelors of Education in her journey to become an Elementary school teacher!

Mya is thrilled to be a part of the ODF team and can’t wait to meet all our new friends and say hello to our old ones!
